Larry Tilson

Larry focuses on Morehead’s service excellence and the execution of its growth strategy. He joined Morehead in 2001 as vice president of marketing and has been responsible for research and development, marketing, and client services. In 2008, Larry was named president and assumed the additional role of CEO in 2011.

Throughout his career, Larry has emphasized effective leadership. He has also focused on bringing people together to build relationships and achieve collaborative results. Prior to joining Morehead, Larry worked in financial services where he held senior management positions in marketing, investor relations, and corporate communications. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. In addition to his involvement in community and non-profit organizations, he is board member of NPR station WFAE and Chairman Emeritus and board member of Charlotte Chamber Music.
