Agreement Finalized with Child Health Corporation of America

Charlotte, NC -- Morehead Associates, Inc. announced today its agreement with Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA) to provide employee and physician surveys and consulting services through October 31, 2012.

Morehead will offer CHCA hospitals, on a discounted basis, an extensive array of customized surveys and analyses to transform employee and physician opinions into targeted actions for improvement. Morehead’s surveys are research-based, yet fully customizable and can be administered both online and in paper format. The results are delivered through quick, comprehensive reports – including an Executive Overview and breakouts by specialty. Post-survey actions include planning guidance and support with online and onsite tools.

With CHCA as a partner, Morehead will continue to focus on children’s hospitals, seeking specialized research and best practices that can be shared across CHCA membership. The benefits to CHCA include access to Morehead’s national and pediatric hospital benchmarks from an extensive client base of over 350 healthcare organizations, 42% of which are among U.S News and World Report’s Honor Roll Hospitals. Morehead is currently partnering with 19 CHCA Owner Hospitals on either employee or physician engagement survey solutions.

For hospital employees, Morehead’s methods can target and focus workforce initiatives, prioritize systemic change, inform work-unit interventions and align employees with business strategies.

Morehead’s Physician Affiliation Survey helps hospitals collect critical data to improve hospital-physician relationships and to measure key factors that influence a physician’s decision to refer patients to a hospital. Morehead can help CHCA hospitals understand what drives physician satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty, and how to align physicians with desired outcomes.

Melinda McDonald, Vice President, CHCA says, “Morehead’s experts can bring a pragmatic approach and practical tools to CHCA Owner Hospitals. With health care resources becoming increasingly scarce, it is critical that all our members can access resources to focus on their employee and physician satisfaction and engagement to deliver high quality children’s hospital services in their communities.”

“CHCA has long been recognized for its role in improving the quality of care for America’s children. Their success has been realized by offering members a range of programs and services designed to improve the performance of children’s hospitals. We are delighted to be chosen to partner with their members and believe our work together can positively impact individual children’s hospitals and CHCA as a whole,” explains Larry Tilson, President, Morehead Associates.
