David Fox, president of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, will share how their organization transformed its relationships with associates, physicians and volunteers to achieve some of the best clinical and service outcomes in America.

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital launched its organizational transformation initiative in 2004, called "Moving from Good to Great." One of the foundations for this strategy was an intention to become the "best place for physicians to practice, associates to work and patients to receive care." Whereas Good Samaritan was considered a "good" hospital in 2004, its organization-wide commitment to pursue performance excellence led to numerous breakthroughs in clinical and service outcomes and ultimately to its selection as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient in 2010.
