Morehead's Magnet Analysis

Morehead's Magnet Analysis leverages results from our employee engagement survey to provide evidence for the Empirical Outcomes component of the New Magnet Model. The Magnet application process requires quantitative and qualitative data that support these outcomes, and results from the organization's employee opinion survey can be used as supporting evidence. We identify items within the engagement survey related to the Empirical Outcomes. Registered nurse results on these items are then compared to the organization's historical results and national benchmarks. These comparisons provide the necessary trending and benchmarking information for the application.

The primary goal of this analysis is to provide data that facilitates the application process for ANCC Magnet designation or re-designation. However, the Morehead Magnet Analysis can also be used to help organizations assess their readiness for attaining Magnet status prior to the actual application process.
